Sirs Launches Pediatric Rehabilitation Service

SIRS Pediatric Rehabilitation Services will be hosting a Ribbon Cutting and Open House at their Boonville Office at 3:30 on Tuesday, October 24th. The SIRS facility is conveniently located at 1579 S. Folsomville Road, Boonville, Indiana.

Finally, specialized care for children that will be close to home. SIRS, Southern Indiana Resource Solutions, is excited to announce their new program for children and adolescents. “SIRS Pediatric Rehabilitation Services” for children birth to adolescence is a comprehensive outpatient rehabilitation program that provides diagnostic, evaluative treatment and referral services for children who experience difficulty with the normal developmental process, are injured, or have identified disabilities.

SIRS currently provides Occupational and Speech Therapy with plans to add Physical Therapy services in the near future. SIRS licensed therapists have seen the need for expanded service options within our communities leading to the development of these new programs. SIRS is proud of the new “kid and family-friendly space” that has been designated for these special programs. The location now offers convenient on-site parking, easy registration and scheduling, a dedicated pediatric waiting room and treatment areas, and a doctor-friendly referral process.

The professional staff at SIRS have specialized training in pediatric rehabilitation. Treatment includes long-term needs such as birth defects, autism, developmental delays, congenital illnesses, and acute injuries. State-of-the-art evaluations and treatment tools provide physicians with monthly progress reports. SIRS professionals will work closely with the family and physician to establish and obtain goals that best suit the development of the patients. SIRS accepts Medicaid, private insurance, First Steps, and private pay patients.

SIRS Pediatric Rehabilitation Services is a division of SIRS. Southern Indiana Resource Solutions is registered with the Internal Revenue Service as a 501(c) (3) not-for-profit corporation. SIRS’ vision is to increase the opportunities for persons with disabilities, and increase the number of children and adults receiving services within our existing communities.
