Jennifer Perkins was recently hired as the director of Bright Beginnings Child Care a division of SIRS. She was previously employed as a lead teacher with Head Start in Evansville, IN. Ms. Perkins also worked as second grade teacher with Pitt County Schools in North Carolina. She received her BS in elementary education from East Carolina University.

Ms. Perkins is a native of Evansville but currently resides in Tell City with her daughters Hannah and Lilianna. Ms. Perkins stated the following “I am very excited to have the opportunity to work at Bright Beginnings. I have many ideas that I feel will benefit our center and I want to implement them as soon as possible”.

Bright Beginnings Child Care will be holding a Perry County Chamber “After Hours” event in which the area business will have an opportunity to meet Ms. Perkins. The “Free” after hours will be held on November 1, 2007 from 4-6pm at Bright Beginnings Conference room.
