Community Connections

Are there activities in your community that you're interested in and need a little support?

SIRS staff will link you with the people and places you want to be. We offer the support needed to:

• Volunteer for a cause or business;
• Go shopping;
• Make new friends;
• Join a club;
• Learn a new hobby; or
• Participate in an social event. . . .

SIRS will help you make the connections. We teach the skills you need to get around in your community, and make it a more fun place to be.

Getting More Skills

SIRS offers training in many ways to help people get the skills they need to live, work, and play. Eligible persons may ask for training and support in areas like:

• Managing your money/paying bills
• Cooking and shopping
• Cleaning
• Personal hygiene
• Communicating with others

We offer our skills training services in your home, or in a variety of community locations. It is really your choice.
