These expectations are “non-negotiable” and are required of all SIRS employees.

Expectations of Team Members
Agency Wide
- Respect for Co-Workers and Supervisors
- Report as Scheduled, On Time
- Drug free
- Honesty
- Respect for the dignity and rights of our clients, people first language, we don’t use derogatory terms such as retarded, mongoloid, retard, short bus, etc.
- Good hygiene
- Professional dress (shorts and skirts no shorter than three fingers above the knee, midriff covered, clean clothes, undergarments as appropriate),
- Flexibility in schedule
- Mandatory overtime upon request
- No Gossiping
- Willingness to directly confront problems
- No use of profanity
Administrative/Management/Supervisor (RLC, RSS, Director of Community Services, Support Staff, Management Team)
- Business/Business Casual Dress
- No exposed piercing, other than ear lobes, while on duty
- No non-natural hair coloring
- No exposed full body tattoos (sleeves, etc)
- Groomed Hair and Facial Hair
Employment Consultant/Sales Staff
- Business/Business Casual Dress
- No exposed piercing, other than ear lobes, while on duty
- No non-natural hair coloring
- No exposed full body tattoos (sleeves, etc)
- Groomed Hair and Facial Hair
Direct Service Provider (Includes CSS, Rest Area, Lineworkers)
- No jewelry that allows for easy grabbing, pulling, or catching by individual, equipment, or moving parts while on duty
- Willingness to conform to client, family, or contractual request/requirement regarding the covering of tattoos, exposed piercing, jewelry, and removal of non-natural hair coloring.
- Sandals, open toe shoes (ie, flip flops, Croc’s) are not to be worn by Direct Service Staff, Plant and Rest Area personnel. Shoes should be worn that fully support the foot and cover the toe and instep.
Therapists
