Barb Goffinet received the Professional Award at the 18th Annual National APSE Conference in Kansas City, Missouri. The Professional Award is given to a highly effective professional who demonstrates trustworthiness, respectfulness, supportiveness and innovation in their interactions with individuals with disabilities, as well as with their friends, family members and employers.

Upon receiving the award Mrs. Goffinet gave credit to her co-workers and the individuals she works with through Jobs+. Mrs. Goffinet stated “It has always been a privilege for me to work with you and to offer our services to others in the community. Kelly Mitchell, CEO of SIRS stated Mrs. Goffinet is a wonderful ambassador for the organization and that her work is impressive”.
