Mrs. Brenda Stoffel, Board Member
Representing Dubois County
“I hope to bring my knowledge and experiences with children to the Board and to help everyone have a better understanding of children’s services and how SIRS can provide these services.” Since I have worked with special needs children for almost 19 years, I hope to help make wise decisions not only for the adults SIRS serves, but also to the children and their families
Ms. Stoffel is an Independent Developmental Therapist with First Steps. She was previously employed with SIRS in the children’s services department for 13 years. She is Chair of the First Step Cluster I Coordinating Council which covers 15 counties in Southern Indiana and a member of the Iota Lamda Chapter of Psi Iota Xi Sorority. Ms. Stoffel is a member of the Huntingburg United Methodist Church where she serves on the Education Committee, Co-Chairs the College Ministry, and has taught Sunday School for over 20 years. Brenda and her husband, Steve, live near the Ferdinand State Forest and have two adult children.
