Mr. Larry Oathout, Board Member
Representing Perry County
Mr. Oathout hopes to use his past experience as a board member with other organizations, “To lay the ground work for SIRS staff to provide great service to the people served”.
When asked why he chooses to accept his role on the board Mr. Oathout stated “Professionally and personally, I constantly come into contact with people who have their lives changed in a positive way by SIRS programs. It is an honor to be associated with an organization that has such an impact.” It is his expectation to “help lay the groundwork” by being mindful of the number of people touched by SIRS as future plans are made.
Mr. Oathout is employed as the Director of Tell City-Perry County Library. He is also a member of Tell City Kiwanis, Tell City Regional Arts Association and he serves on the boards of Leadership Perry County and Perry County Even Start. He is also an adjunct instructor for Ivy Tech Community College.
