Mr. Marlin Weisheit, Board Member

Marlin Weisheit, a well-known face in Warrick County, serving on several community boards as well as in public service for many years, currently works as Chief of Police for the Chandler Police Department. He brings experience in government, law enforcement, and grant-writing, among other talents to the Board. He said he has known and served with CEO Kelly Mitchell during the past several years within the community and welcomes the opportunity to be part of such a hard-working, dedicated organization. Weisheit feels SIRS has done a great job through the years, each year making things better, and he hopes to be part of future improvements. He recently retired from 18 years of service on the Volunteer Fire Department and is retired from the Warrick County Sheriff’s Department and from Peabody Coal.
